What is the Recycled Art Workshop?
The aim of this project is to get people to think about the value of the 'rubbish' they throw away daily, and also how the 'art' of re-use, recycling and salvage can contribute to well-being and developing creativity. Free For All have been working on a studio space for this new project since early 2007, fingers crossed we'll launch in Spring 2008. Workshops will be available for each age group from young children to the third age, and will be co-ordinated by Free For All volunteer and local recycled glass artist Jude Stoll. These informal and fun workshops will be led Jude as well as local and visiting artists.
What kind of things will the workshops recycle?
Current planned workshops include the use of recycled paper, glass, textiles and ceramics and wood, but the potential is endless.
How do I find out more?
Whether your interested in joining a workshop or leading one, contact the co-ordinator (Jude Stoll) on 016973 45656 or by e-mail at judestoll@gmail.com
